Washington Semester Program: Applications

Apply online through the link above and below. In addition to responding to the questions on the brief form, applicants are required to submit a resume and an unofficial transcript.  Apply early during the semester to ensure your spot.

Once you complete the application, you should contact Dr. Deirdre Martinez (d_martinez@sas.upenn.edu) for a brief interview, which will cover topics such as academic interests, extracurricular activities, and program specifics.  You can make an appointment on her Google Calendar Appointment Slots:

After the interview, candidates will be officially notified of their acceptance and will receive the next set of administrative instructions. Accepted students will be invited to attend a briefing at Penn towards the end of their semester to prepare them for the next semester in DC.
