Cassandra (Cassie) is a Program Coordinator at the Fels Institute of Government. In this role, Cassie provides organizational support to the Executive Director, the Director of Admissions & Graduate Studies, and the Director of Student Affairs & Strategic Operations.

Before joining the Fels team, Cassie completed a year of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Chicago where she worked as an After-School Specialist at Girls in the Game providing holistic health programming for underserved girls. She oversaw after-school programming sites, coordinated volunteers and MSW students, and worked directly with both school faculty and program participants.

Cassie is a graduate of Saint Joseph's University where she studied Sociology, Psychology, and Faith-Justice Studies. At Saint Joseph’s, she worked for the Faith-Justice Institute as a Placement Liaison forging relationships with numerous non-profit organizations throughout the greater Philadelphia area. In this capacity, Cassie supported students in the Service-Learning program and collaborated with partner organizations to create partnerships that promoted stronger communities, reciprocal relationships, and the personal and educational growth of students.
