ImpactED Fellow

Mollie Williamson is a southern transplant, originally from Columbia, South Carolina. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in English and Women and Gender Studies and an MSW in Social Work. A longtime community organizer in her home state, Mollie developed the inaugural forensic social worker position at the Richland County Public Defender's office and co-founded and was the Executive Director of a small music and mentoring nonprofit, Girls Rock Columbia, before arriving at Fels. Mollie lived in Philadelphia briefly in the early 00's as a Golden Gloves boxer training to go pro, and is excited to retire her gloves, roll up her sleeves, and work to amplify social change in this community that she loves.
