The Fels Institute has formal relationships with the following public service organizations:

- Council of State Governments/Eastern Regional Conference - Eastern Leadership Academy

- Public Policy and International Affairs
- Teach for America
We highly encourage alumni of these programs to consider us for a graduate degree. We believe that the same qualities that allowed you to complete these programs will help you make significant contributions in and out of the classroom. When applying, please indicate your affiliation with one or numerous of these organizations in your personal statement.
Public Service Partnership Benefits
- Any applicant to the Fels Institute of Government who is a member/alumnus of one or more of the above organizations is eligible for an application fee waiver. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org (attention: Maura Tucker) to request a fee waiver code, which much be used on the payment screen before submitting the application
- Any admitted student to the Fels Institute of Government who is a member/alumnus of one or more of the above organizations is guaranteed a minimum $8,000 scholarship per year for study as an MPA or Executive MPA student. Additional scholarship amounts are dependent on the merit of each application. Certificate-only students are not eligible.
Peace Corps' Paul D. Coverdell Fellows Program
We are proud to participate in the Peace Corps’ Paul D. Coverdell Fellows Program. Established in 1985, Coverdell Fellows (formerly known as Fellows/USA) is a partnership between the Peace Corps and selected graduate schools across the country.
