Vision Zero Research Partnership

Philadelphia Office of Transportation and Infrastructure Systems (oTIS)

In 2016, the City of Philadelphia joined the many cities around the world in adopting Vision Zero, a strategy to eliminate all traffic-related deaths and severe injuries, while increasing safety, health, and mobility for all Philadelphians by 2030. The City of Philadelphia's Office of Transportation and Infrastructure Systems (oTIS) has partnered with us at ImpactED to engage Philadelphia’s robust research community on the topic of Vision Zero and traffic safety. In order to do this, we are convening a Vision Zero Research Partnership of both researchers and practitioners to promote innovative, smart thinking around Vision Zero.
