The Fels Institute of Government is proud to host alumnus Alan Cobb, '89, former director of coalitions for Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and President and CEO of the Kansas Chamber of Commerce, for a discussion on his career spanning the public and private sectors.

About the Speaker: 

Alan Cobb is a Republican political consultant based in Wichita, Kansas. As of June 2017, he has been the President and CEO of the Kansas Chamber of Commerce. Cobb was a 2017 Republican special election candidate who sought election to the 4th Congressional District of Kansas. Cobb was the director of coalitions for Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign. Cobb's political career has been spent mostly in Kansas, where he has been a lobbyist and activist. He earned his undergraduate degree from Wichita State University. He has an MGA from Fels and a J.D. from Washburn University.
