Introduction to Microsoft Excel with Abigail Haddad

This one-day workshop is geared at students who are new to Microsoft Excel but have general computer literacy. It is the first in a series of two Excel workshops. 


About the Instructor


Abigail Haddad is a Data Analyst at Deloitte and has a Ph.D. in public policy from the Pardee RAND Graduate School. She has previously worked works as a statistician for the Army National Guard and was an assistant policy analyst at the RAND Corporation, during which she worked on a variety of projects for the Air Force and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Her research interests include labor economics and military personnel issues and her areas of expertise include data visualization and presenting technical data to non-technical audiences.


Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program that offers a host of features for storing and analyzing data, creating visuals, and constructing interactive forms and tools for others to use. With a small amount of training, you can do all of these on a level that will useful in a variety of roles.
