The Fels Institute of Government provides many venues for job searching and career services. The administrative office receives calls from recuriters for government positions and internships. In turn, Fels students are notified of these opportunities. Fels advisors and staff offer help to students individually. Faculty members also provide assistance to students.
In addition to these notifications, one of the greatest strengths of the Fels program is its alumni. Alumni frequently participate in speaking events and alumni panels. Many are also involved in regional professional ortanizations. These present students with many opportunities for networking. Fels students are also eligible to create an account to use Quakernet, the online Penn alumni community. Quakernet allows you to search for and connect with Fels and non-Fels alumni by location, organization, class year, etc.
The Penn Alumni Career Network (PACNet) is another great way to connect with Penn Alumni. The individuals that are part of PACNet have volunteered to provide career information to current Penn students.
