Spring 2022 on-campus meetings will be held on the following Fridays at 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 - 5:30 p.m. (break for lunch from 1 - 2 p.m.): January 15, February 19, March 19, and April 23. The class will meet online on Monday evenings from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Course Description: 

This course will introduce students to key economic concepts such as scarcity, efficiency, monopolies, and cost-benefit. Students will practice applying these principles to the range of decisions that public sector executives have to make in order to understand the trade-offs inherent in any public policy or program.

This is a "hybrid" course, with synchronous, online meetings and once-monthly, on-campus meetings in Philadelphia, PA. Also, please note there is an additional $150 online course fee.
