The mission of ICJ is to serve any person impacted by mass incarceration by providing support services that empower those affected to thrive as their fullest selves. We envision a world free from mass incarceration where communities have equitable access to health, safety, justice, and the opportunity to design their freedom. ICJ is a comprehensive prison services and reentry program providing health linkages, supportive services, education and advocacy for individuals, families and communities impacted by mass incarceration. The supports provided by ICJ are valuable services offered to returning citizens.

Project Overview:

ICJ services have been under utilized by individuals who have been impacted by mass incarceration. There is a need to educate stakeholders (i.e. PA Bureau of Community Corrections Region programs, Eastern Region Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, Philadelphia Adult Probation and Parole, and Alcohol and other Drug programs) of the services provided.

Deliverable(s):

There will be strategies submitted by student(s) to ICJ Program Director (Kelly Rascoe) by June 30, 2023. The strategies will be implemented effective July 1, 2023. The results of interventions will be reported by August 31, 2023.

Project Timeline:

The student(s) will recommend a minimum of three (3) viable strategies for engagement and marketing of ICJ services to stakeholders and then evaluate how effective the strategies were.
