Fels in France

June 18, 2010

A group of Fels students participated in a one-week, intensive program on
"European Approaches to Complex Multi-Stakeholder Project Management". The coursework was split between two French schools:  the business school École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Paris (HEC) and Ecole Nationale D'Administration (ENA).

At HEC, widely considered to be one of the top business schools in Europe, students participated in a project management simulation, led by the actual creator of the program.  While at ENA, students worked on a case study on the Velib program, the large-scale bicycle sharing program in Paris.

This was the first year that the course, which is administrated by Penn's Organizational Dynamics program, was open to Fels students.  Participants also attended a cocktail reception hosted by HEC in their private booth at the French Open, and ENA set up a private meeting at the American Embassy in Paris.
