2012 marks the 5th anniversary of the Fels Institute of Government's partnership with the Peace Corps' Paul D. Coverdell Fellows Program. Established in 1985, the Paul D. Coverdell Fellows Program (formerly known as Fellows/USA) is a partnership between the Peace Corps and selected graduate schools across the country. This program supports returned Peace Corps volunteers as they bridge their Peace Corps experiences with a future career in public service.

The Fels Institute of Government is a proud partner of the of the Coverdell Fellows program, and continues to support returned Peace Corps volunteers enrolled in our graduate programd as they search for public service positions in Philadelphia. Some of our most recent Coverdell Fellows have interned with the City of Philadelphia and various local non-profit and community organizations.
