Penn in Washington Speakers

Penn in Washington, operated by the Fels Public Policy Internship Program, offers an outstanding Speaker Series over the summer in Washington. 

Speakers come from across the field of public policy, ranging from federal agencies, to Congress, to think tanks and the media.  Guest speakers in the past have included Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA), Sam Donaldson (ABC News), Vice Admiral Lowell E. Jacoby (Director, Defense Intelligence Agency), and Daniel Klaidman (Newsweek).  With this series, we hope to provide students with a wider perspective on politics and policy making in Washington.
