Fels Public Policy Program in New York City

While Washington, D.C. is indisputably the hub of national policymaking, the New York city public policy sector offers many opportunities.  There are a range of international advocacy organizations, a number of politics-oriented television programs and media outlets, and major foundations who influence policymaking.  While many of these organizations prefer graduate students, there are a number who will consider undergraduates.  Also note that internships in the policy field in New York are not likely to be paid.  If you are a sophomore or junior in the College of Arts and Sciences and would like to apply, please complete the online application. (We encourage you to focus your internship search on one city but if you choose to apply to our programs internships in both NYC and DC you will have to complete two separate applications, one for each program.)
