Temporary housing in Washington is very hard to come by, particularly if you wait until the last minute. Your first stop should be George Washington University. The hall we suggest is one block from the metro stop (very important in the summertime!), and has a range of rooms, all of which include kitchens: (http://gwired.gwu.edu/gwhousing/summerhousing/).

New Hall has doubles and quads from $252 to $259 per week, per person. All buildings are staffed with student assistants, who are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Book your living space as soon as possible! GW is a convenient spot for summer interns and fills up quickly.
