John DiIulio

John J. Dilulio is the Frederic Fox Leadership Professor of Political Science at Penn and a Nonresident Senior Fellow in governance studies at the Brookings Institution. He is also the former Assistant to the President of the United States and First Director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives and directs the Robert A. Fox Leadership Program and the Program for Research on Religion and Urban Civil Society at the University of Pennsylvania. He works extensively with national and local government agencies, grant-making foundations, and other organizations to develop, preserve, or expand programs via public-private and religious-secular partnerships. Professor Dilulio received his PhD from Harvard University.
